Do you need it for entire globe or a specific domain? And will you use ensemble of CMIP5 models or some of them? Global 3-h data might be a bit massive data depending on your resolution. Generally, daily and monthly averages are more practical to share and handle. NASA has daily bias corrected dataset at a higher horizontal resolution.

M.Tufan, I share your concerns about the size of those data sets, but this is the kind of data that people working in regional climate and vegetation modeling need to deal with to set up their analyses. I wasn't looking for something specifically, I was just wondering what was available.

I think the next round of climate simulations for the IPCC AR6 (if this is not possible for the current CMIP5 data), should be made available both non-bias-corrected and bias-corrected. This would reduce the proliferation of "in-house" bias-correction exercises that are usually done using different methodologies and reference observations (ERA-Interim, GLDAS, Sheffield, etc): that for producing (at least sometimes) inconsistencies.

The benefit would be twofold: on the one hand, it would facilitate the work of regional modelers (climate, vegetation, hydrology and so on); at the same time, it would enhance the possibility to compare different studies and methodologies.
