I would like to determine the prevalence and correlates of HIV, Syphilis, Chlamydia, Gonorrhea HBV and HCV among inmates in a Mexican jail. Currently, there is no treatment available for HCV infection in Mexico. I would like to include harm reduction information for people who have a confirmed HCV infection and are currently incarcerated.
Hi Alicia- The STRIVE intervention was developed prior to the development of good HCV therapies and was shown to significantly reduce injection risks. That is the intervention that we based Mujer Mas Segura on. Why not adapt MMS for the jail? Feel free to email me about it
