As part of my thesis, I created a tool which refers to a database to provide outputs based on inputs. There was no existing literature providing me with concrete answers to create the database and hence I created a survey with expert participants to capture the data I need. Now I'm finding it really hard to write down the discussion part for the survey results. Although I could think about the story with the literature and survey results, it's hard to write it down as a technical discussion. Can anyone refer a dissertation which I could follow where they have solely discussed the survey results?

Do you use statistic designs approach or just put random data and try to create the mathematical model?
