I have searched for a long time and have not found the UV-Vis spectrum of ethanol in the formally published paper, can someone help me please.
I guess it would be much simpler to record these spectra than to search them in the literature. There are numerous questions, which can be resolved experimentally within 5 minutes, instead of wasting time looking for the literature.

Yurii V Geletii Thank you for your reply. The problem I have now is that the UV spectrum of phenol measured by the same UV spectrometer and the people in our laboratory are slightly different. We urgently need a standard spectrum to determine whose results is correct.
The spectrum of your friend seems a bit more resolved. Is there a temperature difference between the two experiments?

Yurii V Geletii Matthieu Hamel Robert Bernard Pansu Thanks for the answers everyone, we figured out what the problem was because my friend and I were using the same UV spectrometer and the same quartz cuvettes, but he was using shorter UV/Vis response times and longer UV /vis Bandwidth, resulting in a slight difference in the spectra we measured between the two, but both spectra are correct.
