I am try to study Mie theory to understand optical behavior of metal nano particles (spherical). I have to develop a computer program based on Mie theory to theoretically understand optical absorption spectrum of nano particles. So I need some good papers to know about how to solve Mie theory using numerical methods.

We can only plot extinction Vs wavelength spectrum of metal nanoparticles if we input complex dielectric function of such material.
How can we calculate that complex dielectric function?
In a first approximation, use the dielectric function of bulk silver.
In the next approximation consider the presence/effect of the surface. U. Kreibig has devoted a significant part of his work to this problem - not from a theoretical point of view, but rather from a phenomenological one, as I would name it. It will certainly be useful to study his papers in this respect. You will readily find modifications to the dielectric function (in both, real and imaginary parts) in the form of some 1/R - dependence (where R is the particle radius), signifying the appearance of (surface related) scattering terms that gain importance as the particles get smaller.
What you may then try to do is to see how these modifications propagate through the Kramers Kronig relations, which should always hold. I would think that Kreibigs work should also discuss these aspects.
In practice, the work on particle dispersions with a significant size distribution is limited, though, and there were times with lots of discussions on whether the plasmon modifications discussed in the way Kreibig at al. proceeded was close enough to intrinsic properties to derive more physics from their observations.
There has been later work on plasmonic spectra taken on single particles. I would think that spotting these pieces of literature would be of great interest for you. I don't have anything at hand, though, since it's been too long ago that I have had my little share in that field.
Actually I'm looking to solve the extinction coefficient of Ag nano-particles using Mei theory.
In order to solve that I've to input dielectric function of material and surrounding medium.
I would like to calculate it using computation, but I don't know how to solve it.
