I have synthesized peptide having two amino acid derivatives. I am preparing hydrogel from that peptide after putting them in particular solvent system.
And, I want to do SAXS measurement for that gel. How I can prepare sample.
Since in SAXS, we need sample in solution form and i have a gel...please help to clear the concept. How I can do that???

Dear Saurabh: SAXS measures the size of the nanoparticles in the range of values of the wave vector 0,03-10 nm-1. Dipepetid not form micelles in solution, as a protein. For aqueous solutions of dipeptide you get a broad halo with a maximum of 19-20 nm-1 as in the water. For investigation solutions dipeptide SAXS not suitable.

You are saying that dissolving peptide in water n doing SAXS will not give any fruitful result.

For your articles I need to pay. In summary it is seen that investigated polypeptide 40 amino acids and it has been modified to obtain a structure for research on SAXS. Your task is beyond my interests.
