Iam new to this field, i am trying to make collagen hydrogel In articles they did not mention the exact preparation methods for hydrogel preparation. i am using rat tail collagen type I. I have tried to neutralizing it by adding an appropriate amount of 1 M NaOH solution and i checked the ph with ph meter. There is no gelation after this even after I incubated this at 37 deg C for up to 2 hours. What am I missing here?.
