i am calculating the effective properties of the knitted textile reinforced composites. i need to calculate the values of the tensile strength E1,E2 and E3 of the composite by impossing pre stress in the knitting loop. you can also consider unidirectional fiber reinforced composite case. i do not know how can i apply pre stress in the fiber.
