We are currently using an EpiShear™ Probe Sonicator from Active motif which is equipped with 1 probe. Ideally, I would like to equip our current machine with a multi horn (2 or 4?) module. These are commercially available, but I would like to know whether those are still powerful enough to process tissue, and whether those would be compatible with our machine. In our experience, water bath sonicators (biorupter, for example) are not powerful enough for tissue processing, so that won't do.

Any experiences with multi-horn probe sonicators for ChIP-seq, preferable in conjunction with an Epishear machine?
