I perceive that Skype is generally indicated as a second-order kind of therapy, to be practiced only when body-to-body therapy is not possible.
Even conceded this, I think that in some instances a bond through Skype is better than nothing, and in particular that in some instances the bond could be evaluated as more important than suggesting clients to find a new therapist in the place where the client moved.
This evidently implies the persistence of the (already established?) bond through Skype, and some capacity of the medium to channel human bonds.
Any literature/ideas?
