I'm trying to encapsulate B-carotene into amylose beads, in order to confirm the formation of an inclusion complex I gave a sample to a NMR operator, and also I gave her the attached data containing the spectra of B-carotene and Amylose, but she couldn't get the same spectra of B-carotene as the reference. Can anyone help me where I can find the spectra for B-carotene, either 13C NMR or 1H NMR?
PS: The NMR device is a 300 mhz NMR.

Did you give her the pure components? It is probably a good idea to have the before and after spectra (if you have impurities or sthg like that in the starting components it might help with interpretation...).
Also NMR peaks can shift if the surrounding changes e.g. due to formation of a complex. So the composit might look different than simply the sum of the components. But it might help if you then e.g. quantify peaks that you can attribute to a certain component.
Doing an elemental analysis of your complex might be an easier/alternative option (Vienna University offers a service for that where you can just send in your sample and get the elemental composition back [they also do it for you if you are not there, Johannes Theiner is the responsible] but I am sure other universities have this kind of things too)
