Can anyone help or provide data about the temp rates and climate change in the middle eastern countries, included Iraq, during the period between 1990 to the present?
I am looking for what changes in climate happened there, in particular changes in the temperature and humidity, which are related to drought.

Do you already know that? I know they are not complete, but I think you can start from there.

These data are not exaclty what you are looking for, but may be starting from these data and papers, you can write to the authors and find more details. Both about the state of work related to Iraq temperature and humidity, and the actual web available historical series.

Thanks for the articles. I had a look ate the first article regarding temperature over Basra. I am not sure if this data is verified. I have a station in Abdally, Kuwait less than 60 km from Basrah, where measuring 48-50oC in summer is measured quite often. I use metone station which undergo a yearly calibration.
Mustafa there is reliable measurement available on different metrological parameters for over 20 years. But I was not successful to see the climate change effect on that. You might find some articles on my RG i have put a temperature graph which I will send you across to have alook and decide.
Dear Mustafa I tried attaching the graph. please see my Dataset: MAPPING HYDROCARBON POLLUTION ON LAND SURFACE USING THERMAL REMOTE SENSING IN SOUTH KUWAIT on RG you will find on page 63 the trend from 1960 - 2009 this is a actual measured data. and on page 64 some landuse changes and ground temperature from satellite datasets (supported by in situ) measurements.
If you want to consider gridded data then take a look at Climatic Research Unit (CRU). they have continuous data for many climate variables from 1900 - 2010
