I want to use a von Kossa staining protocol to quantify cardiovascular calcifications. However, in our lab this protocol has not been developed yet. Does anyone know/has a proper working protocol?
Quote by M.A.A.MAHDY ("deleted Profile") still valid.... Quote by Matthew (see above!) "The method described in "Theory and Practice of Histological Technique" (Bancroft) works well. You could also consider Goldner's Trichrome Method." Usually researchers and students are (at least for some time) searching for sources of a technique / method in relevant books and by reading (eventuallyy also original) literature , did you any of these? Regards, W.M.

I used this kit on P1 limbs and p1 spine for mouse (tissue cut without decalcification, easy to cut at that stage). This kit worked beautifully for my tissues. It should work for your purpose, I believe.
