I used WATEQ4F back in 1995, but there is a newer modeling software from the US Geological Survey: https://water.usgs.gov/software/lists/geochemical called PHREEQC https://wwwbrr.cr.usgs.gov/projects/GWC_coupled/phreeqc/ with a graphical interface called phreeqci https://wwwbrr.cr.usgs.gov/projects/GWC_coupled/phreeqci/ which you should consider using instead of WATEQ4F. Phreeqci has all of the capability of WATEQ4F and more (inverse modeling, some transport, and kinetics). The manual for phreeqc is great, and there are many excellent examples that are well described. I suggest reading the manual and running all the examples, which is the best way to learn the software.
