I need your help in finding literature on the evolution of a river bar in the tide-dominated delta. Also, I want to know about the methodology which I can follow to know about the evolution/formation of a river bar.

There are various studies and papers on internet to explore. This study showed some ingenuity that may have merit for a general understanding of processes. I did not check to see if the study was just with freshwater, or differentiate d fresh and salt water influences, as salt water is denser, so may produce some morphology differences.
