I appreciated your answer to my question, I`m really registered on all links that mentioned it, but I need ASTER satellite images for free download, not ASTERGDEM.
The JPL site provided by Tigo Tome will lead you there as well, but a direct link is: https://lpdaac.usgs.gov/dataset_discovery/aster/aster_products_table. It lists the ASTER products and provides links for downloading data.
You can have look at http://reverb.echo.nasa.gov/reverb/. However, for Iraq I did not find a single ASTER Image between 2000 to 2015. Not sure what is the reason. The on-demand products, such as the Level 1A, The higher-level products and L1B over international areas of interest other than the US are available only to approved users via an application process. The LP DAAC provides general access to all archived ASTER L1B scenes/granules over the US and US Territories, ASTER L1A & L1B Expedited products, and the ASTER Global Digital Elevation model at no-cost.
On www.earthexplorer.usgs.gov you can find aster images. Is is usually located on Data Sets -> NASA Collections. Mark the little box before the Aster image you want and then go to the first tab (Search Criteria) to mark the location. After that, click on results at the end of the page.
Go to https://earthdata.nasa.gov/ and type ASTER in the search window. You should be able to get all the ASTER data products held in the NASA Land Processes Distributed Active Archive Center which is located at the EROS Center, Sioux Falls, South Dakota, which is a USGS facility. The data are available at no charge.
