Please guide, what quality of water is required for water gas shift reaction to convert CO and water into Hydrogen and CO2? Can we use industrial waste water for this purpose which is contaminated with sulphates and chlorides and some other usual contaminants?
Thank you dear Ville. What level of purification will be needed. A simple distilled water would be fine or I need to bring it to de-ionized water quality?
I understood your point. It's all about reaction kinetics that what other reactions will be possible in presence of contaminants and how will they affect catalyst activity and lower it down or deactivate. I got the hint.
