I am looking for agents that definitely bind alpha synuclein (fibrils), and could potentially be displaced by novel compounds, inorder to set up an in vitro assay for alpha synuclein. So far I have come across Thioflavin T fluorescence assay (plenty of references) and a [3H] Chrysamine G radiometric assay. I have not been able to find much about the latter. Does anyone know of any suppliers of [3H] Chrysamine G? Any one with experience of this assay?
