I stained EL-4 mouse T cells with CD4 and CD8 in unstimulated and stimulated condition. but I am hardly seeing any CD8 expression. Do these cells not express CD8? if so are there any other markers I can test for EL-4 stimulation?
In my knowledge, I think EL-4 cells do not express CD4 or CD8. I used CD90 (Thy.2) to be sure about the cell line origin (as murine T cell).
How do you stimulate your cells? if you stimulate the with PMA for example, they might produce more IL-2.
