Biomass is the weight of the biological component alone, either in dry form or wet form. Cell in the building block of biological component. Cell also refers to compartmentalization of something: biotic or abiotic..
So i can say that a volatile suspended solids (VSS) is also a biomass or cell right?

All answers for mass is right .actually Bio means living organism and Mass is a physical parameter, So I think every word deeply explain its nature.... Thanks for all answers
