I am working on a project that is looking at the relationship between donors, the state, and the various sub-national actors who control the mining industry (licit or illicit) in Afghanistan, post-2001. Srinjoy, you may have already trolled through the BGS and USGS sites, but they provide annual reports on mineral production and reserves for each country. These are probably official statistics, but there may be comments about illegal activities as well. Try these -
