I intend to buy a RT-PCR and someone indicated me the qTOWER produced by Analytik Jena, Germany, It has good price and promises to be 10 times faster than the other ones.
I'm afraid that this speed interferes in the quality of data.
Does anyone know this product?
I have ABI StepOne Plus with me for last 3 yeras. It works really fine.

I have used ABI, Bio-Rad and Roche machines throughout the years. I believe that Roche makes the best machines because they are the most uniform in heating and cooling the samples. They are also generally more expensive also. I think the Bio-Rad MyiQ was the easiest machine I have ever used - it had a very intuitive user interface and was a breeze to program and analyze. I am currently using the ABI StepOne Plus (like Niroj), and it has performed very well. My duplicate sample variation is very low and it is very easy to use, but is limited in its automatic quantification analysis. Take your time and ask your sales representatives to see them. Pick the one which makes you most comfortable - the results of your experiments will be determined more by your primer design, pipetting and sample differences than the machine :)
