I am using COMSOL Multiphysics for the design. I have tried the meander and Spiral structure of thermal conductor. However, both these designs result to heat pockets. Is there a design to bring uniform distribution of heat?
In COMSOL, Joule's heating physics, I am not using a "Temperature" sub-module as the temperature of the surfaces selected gets restricted to the value defined in the module. However, upon simulation the temperature reaches 1013K. Any advice regarding this problem?
Should I use the temperature module and restrict the value to 1200degC? How would this apply in practicality?

Why do you need to design the micro hot pate for. Is this just a virtual exercise.
I am not familiar with cosmol but try to increase your cells making finer mesh.
Still I just want to know where are are you going bto use the micro hot plate...
