INFLUENCE OF FITOGEMAGLUTININE FAZEOLOSAKSIN ON THE LIFE CYCLE OF PARAMECIUM CAUDATUM.
D. Kovachev
SUMMARY
A Bulgarian pharmaceutical [medication’s / drug’s], Fitogemaglutitine Fazeolosaksin’s stimulating effect on infusoria has been studied. In the concentration of 50 mkg/ml, FGA [likely an abbreviation for the name of the drug] reduces the generational time [the time it takes to generate] of individuals [I assume, individual infusoria] in the logarithmical phase and shortens the time of the culture’s exit from physiological depression in the stationary phase. High concentrations of FGA are toxic for infusoria.
