This fish died and I dissected it to do a post mortem. However, i'm not sure what is wrong with this fish. The gills looks kind of like being infected by something. Does the internal organs looks normal? what is the possibilities of disease that this fish might have?

The yellow on the gills is tell tale for Columnaris, a very prolific bacteria that is hard to treat. Are these hobby aquaria fish, research or recreation? If it is in aquaria you can treat with over the counter antibiotic. Fish that may be consumed require a vet prescription for antibiotic and it has to be specially made and put into the feed if you are in the United States; requires a Veterinary Feed Directive and has a withdrawl before the fish can be consumed. Try to get antibiotics in feed rather than solution as the fish should CONSUME the antibiotics to be effective.

Thanks guys. The facilities where this incident had occur made it quite hard for me to provide more information. I could not get my hands on any microscope to determine if it is a bacteria infection or parasite infestation. However, I did isolate them and dip them in salt water (20ppt) for 15 mins or until the fish movement is no longer active. I also sanitize the growout tanks. Luckily the treatments work and no more mortality had occur other than caused by fighting. The stocking density is really low so I do not think overcrowding is on of the problems.
