i am performing the 3D modelling of DCB test for composites using cohesive element method to see the response of force vs displacement graph. in order to take the reaction force i created the reference points at end of the specimen and i connected the this reference point to surface (attached in the below). i gave the displacement is boundary condition at the reference point. the force response curve is attached below. in my force response curve am unable to see the load drop even after increasing the displacement boundary condition. For trail work modelling the two laminates of composite plies and in middle cohesive elements. so my doubt is whether am doing the correct procedure?? if am doing correct procedure why am unable to see the load drop in my curve?? if anybody knows correct procedure please let me know???
