Boron deficiency is perhaps the most common micronutrient deficiency.

The deficiency can cause discreeet symptoms of tip dry back stem hollowing and a central seed necrosis called heart rot.

If your soil is much under 1 ppm Boron you might be set up for issues.

Foliar analysis can be used to confirm Boron deficiency.

The use of a soil application and a foliar application can be used to get Boron at adecuate levels.

Care in dosages is important as boron toxicity is a potential issues also.
