In  a speed sensor-less induction motor drive, there is a need to estimate the speed. At low operating speeds, the estimated speed is not accurate, due to parametric variations ( like the stator resistance, rotor time constant etc). Therefore it is preferred to undertake online adaptation of the parameter also. In this case, the stator resistance is also parallely  estimated alongside the speed. I would like to know whether any variations in the load torque will affect the estimated resistance and how?
