I have initially chosen prudence as the center for the test I’m about to create. However, there are little theoretical work and empirical efforts on the construct of prudence. I am hoping to find a suitable theory and subscales/subconstructs to support my test development. If you have a link to where it is posted without cost, I would appreciate it. Alternatively, if you could attach a copy, I would be very grateful.

I would look at the risk taking literature. There are dozens of scales that measure an individual's willingness to take risks, which seems to be defining element of prudence.
