If you need also identify early stages I would suggest

"Richards, W.J. (Ed.) (2006). Early stages of Atlantic fishes: an identification guide for the western central North Atlantic, volume I. CRC Marine Biology Series. CRC Press: Boca Raton. ISBN 978-0-8493-1916-7. 1335 pp."

This Atlas consists known larval and juvenile stages of Myctophids.
