I am in search of some recent literature's on the use of PGP microbes with biochar for increased crop productivity and their future prospects. Thanks in advance.
Since the addition of biochar represents a carbon pool that may be available for soil microorganisms i suggest for a start to read two very interesting review papers by Prof Janice E Thies and her colleagues about biochar effects on soil biota

Beside the paper suggested by Dr. Gasparatos, you may also go through the review paper written by Jeffery et al.(2011) on " A quantitative review of the effects of biochar application to soils on crop productivity using meta-analysis. Agriculture, Ecosystems & Environment 144 (1) : 175-187.
Thank u Dr. Gasparatos Sir and Dr. Tarafdar Sir for your valuable suggestions. Actually I am in search of recent literature's depicting biochar as carrier material of PGP microbes for application in soil.
Dr. Sandilya, then I think you may get entire information in the Ph. D. thesis of Dr. Lauren Elizabeth Hale in the University of California in the year 2014 on " Biochar and Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria as Soil Amendments". Otherwise, to my experience, I find that lignite also equally effective carrier material for PGP microbes.
Following the suggestion of Dr. Tarafdar, please also check the recent publication ''Nutrient supplementation of pinewood biochar for use as a bacterial inoculum carrier'' in Biology and Fertility of Soils
