Generally callus is undifferentiated mass of cells,
Whereas tumor is uncontrolled growth of cells,
some say both are comparable, but I disagree, any idea

In humans a callous is the thickening of the skin due constant use/friction.
Skin tumours are just that, ranging from relatively benign BCC and a highly aggressive form malignant melanoma.
If the same applies to plants then clearly there is a big difference
@Dr. Andrew All I wanted to know was whether they are different or share same progentiors?
For example: the cells that form tumor lose their identity and their cell cycle is not regulated as some genes which regulate the process are mutated/ disfunctional.
But callus is something which forms after giving hormonal combinations (controlled by hormones auxin and cytokinin). The cell cycle is still regulated. It is not uncontrolled. Once you change the combination of hormones the cells either form shoots or roots.
In animals yes I agree with you.
