The procedure of Prof. Udenigwe is correct. All you need to do is to prepare different concentration of known antioxidant such as Ascorbic acid or Ethylenediamine tetra acetic acid (ETDA).

Then determine or measure the absorbance of the standard using spectrophotometer

* plot the absorbance of the standard against concentration of the stand in Ms EXcel or Origin Pro9

* A straight line graph will be generated, If you used Ms excel to plot the graph right click on the staight line curve and click on format trendline

* Stroll down in the trendlibe option and check/tick display equation on chart.

* From the straight line equation, make X the subject the formula, the X is the concentration you are looking while Y is the Absorbance.

* Subtitude the value of the absorbance of your sample into the equation and the value of X given in the frap content of your sample.

Repeat it for all the absorbance of the samples you want to determine the frap content.

I think this should help.
