Can anybody explain me how to calculate antioxidant properties of a crude plant extract as"mg ascorbate per g dry extract” from FRAP assay
The equation for Vit-C is y=0.0084x - 0.1222 (R2=0.9954). Absorbance sample is 0,157 and concentration sample is 200 ppm

O.D = 0.0084 Conc. -0.1222
0.0084 Conc. =O.D +0.1222
Conc.= (0.D+0.1222)/0.0084
Absorbance of the sample = 0.157
Conc. Vit-C = (0.157+0.1222)/0.0084 = 33.2381 ppm
The plant extract was 200 ppm
33.2381 ppm/200ppm= 33.2381 mg/200mg plant extracts
=0.0332381 mg/0.2mg= 33.2381 g/200g =16.61905 g/100gm
=16619.05 mg/100gm =166.1905 mg/g dry extract
