Can anybody describe how bond types in minerals especially zeolites affect its crystallinity as computed from the FTIR spectra?

Bond structure between various atoms in a mineral do affects its XRD patterns so crystallinity as well.

Normally zeolites have a three dimensional network honeycomb like structure in the solid state. They have covalent bonds, ionic bonds(not shown in IR) and co-ordinate bonds. Depending on the nature, valency and size ions the crystal parameters as well as IR absorption chage.
