I want to know about the other types used for the culturing of glioblastoma cells. If there are media which can be used can anybody please name along with the constituents. If not then why?
Short answer: Yes, but changing media or its components will change the cells behavior. What cells specifically? Are these U87, U251, T98G, etc.? Each cell line may require a different set of media + additives and growth factors, antibiotics, that may change based experimental conditions, on what you are trying to measure, and other variables. I would advise that you find someone locally, that is growing, or has experience in the specific cells in question, that you can learn from in person.
