I am interested in how to quickly build a dental arch model. It seems that some commercial software can build a dental arch model just by measuring the width of the central incisor. Is this reliable? Because even using the Beta function model, at least five teeth must be measured.

I would think in reality there is too much biological variation to accomplish this
in my opinion, this kind of thinking about dental arch is not correct, for building dental arch we need much more information, for example about skull base, vertical dimension, and much more individual determinants of occlusion.
To build an arch form We need mainly intercanine distance and intermolar distance with the midline , once all determined ( customized depending on each case and succed in localising them with the respect to the bio- functional factors e.g neutral zone) then the arch form can be detected
