I am wondering if anyone can share with me a good references to understand the biostatistics with examples and exercises especially the calculation of odd ratio and relative risk.
thanks in advance

Pretty simple calculator for both OR and RR here.
You may also find these links and PDFs useful. Find below

You may consult the classic book "An Introduction to Categorical Data Analysis" by Alan Agresti. A fundamentally useful book, if not necessary.
I would recommend you to read Chapter 4: Measures of Disease-Exposure Association, of the book "Statistics for Epidemiology" by Nicholas P. Jewell.

If you want I can share the pdf file with you.
Supercourse is always my choice to find lecture notes of epidemiology and biostatistics. There are many powerpoints with detail description.

please search by entering your keywords (e.g. relative risk/ odds ratio) in right top corner and you will get many useful PPT
