I'm preparing Cadmium sulfide nanoparticles using banana extract as a capping agent, after drying it, it looks like thin sheets, cannot be grinded as powder (The last time, it does not look like that), what might be the probable reasons for this appearance?

Hello Fahmy,
You didn't mention the exact process you adopted for synthesis. You can avoid this by filtering the extract before using it in the synthesis process. The biomolecules might be the reason. Secondly there may be chances for amine formation on fermentation of your extract and hence the layers.
