Ya its very true Polybia-MP1 (MP1 extracted from the venom of Brazilian wasp Polybia paulista) have anticancer potential. It used to target leukemic T lymphocytes (25 μM, high level of phospholipid) by pore forming activity as compared to normal lymphocytes (high level of cholesterol and sphingomyelin). MP1 was used to inhibit multidrug-resistant leukemic cells, bladder and prostate cancer without any cytotoxic and hemolytic activities.
