ps. Do that after you first define df9. Your second declaration of df9 doesn't work. Maybe you installed a package that you did not mention.

What is about:

> boxplot (df9 [1:13])

The method vector (id 14) contains non numeric data. Accordingly, the boxplot command refuses to serve. Excluding this delivers a set of boxplots for all other vectors in that frame...

As Daniel before, I did not understand what you are trying to do with the last line...
