Best Tools to Sample Frozen Human Spinal Cord Blocks?

I wanted to inquire about whether anybody had experience with sampling frozen human spinal cord blocks?

I am interested in conducting the following upstream of single-cell protocols:

1. Separate grey from white matter.

2. Separate lesional from normal-appearing tissue using landmarks from an FFPE stained section.

Does anybody have any tips or tools I should use for these procedures?
