I am looking for the best solution for septage odor control in a pretreatment system that designed for septage before discharge to head of municipal wastewater treatment plant. This pretreatment system include an underground reservation tank for septage and then ABR and equalization tank. If there is any exoeriences to odor control for this condition, please participate in this discussion.

Have a look at chapter 12 of the linked document:
Various chemicals and other approaches are recommended but you'll also need to do some bench scale trials to get the dosages right. Lime to raise the pH ~ 12 for 1/2h to 2h is also a common treatment for septage that is to be land applied directly but not if the septage is to be added to the headworks.

We are dealing the Septage problem by two different options:
1. Mixing of Sepatge with Existing Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plant by diluting the organic loads of Septage to domestic Sewage in Undergaround mixing tank. The odour problem has been addressed by providing an odour control unit of 20 Circulation.
2. In Dedicated Septage Treatment Plant, Odour control unit for the collection Chamber System.

Thank for the experiences that you mentioned, this can be a good idea, but authority of water and wastewater works in Iran can not accept the septage without pretreatment, so we have to design the system, surely with odor control, like wet scrubber or biofilter and etc. for ABR system or the enclosed chamber for screen and grit chamber.

I am very delighted to find you in researchgate. Yes I had discussion with Dr. Mousavi, but he recommend me to design a biofilter or scrubber that I know.
