Hi! I am trying to optimize a qPCR experiment using mouse tissues. I am trying to use a GAPDH control, but I think my primers may not have been designed well. Does anyone have primers for GAPDH that work very well in qPCR?
Have a look at table 2.1 or pg 86/319 of my PhD thesis (https://pure.bond.edu.au/ws/portalfiles/portal/36135827/Can_Kiessling_Thesis.pdf), I used GAPDH and other reference genes for mouse heart samples. Remember to always validate the stability of reference genes in your experimental conditions (see figure 4.2 -pg128/319).
Hello, there is an online repository from where you can retrieve primers for free (only mouse and human available). I have heard that these primers are from published sources and some of them include agarose gel image or melting curve (real time pcr) for specification and verification. have a look at my tutorial video on this. hope you find it useful
