Best and easy nueutronics software to learn on our own..?

I'm doing a research work on gas core nuclear rocket and I wanted to learn nueutronics software inorder to study the motion of neutrons and it's behaviour, and also to find the criticality and to define many parameters of the the rocket engine... I need suggestions for neutrinos software like mcnp or open mc and many more softwares....thank you in advance...
