In fact, I had not even heard about the "beaten copper phenomenon" before I read your question. However, my advice here would be to use RG as a good source of information. Dear Frank, thank you, your reference is really helpful and a good source. As a scientist working in paleopathology, you always have to follow medicine. We always have only incomplete findings, no anamneses etc. etc. I hope some colleagues will come forward. The keyword Copper is certainly not so helpful that RG has generated. Best Kurt
