I am trying to simulate a real case of loading using the beam on elastic foundation model. The chosen case contain both earthquake and wind loading. I have tried different sizes for my beam, however, I could not get off the negative soil pressure at the end points. I have tried with two differnt software, but I still have the same problem.
I do apprieciate any suggestions in regards, or any refrence docouments to be refered. Could we to some extent accept negative soil pressure in practical sense.

Yes, negative pressure can be tricky to work with, most a times if you cross check all your loadings and correct them, it should eliminate the negative uplift pressure.

Negative pressure can be there for real, specially in dynamic fast movements like vibrations from earthquake.
If you believe they are all wrong, in some softwares you can define an interface as "compression only".
If you're not allowed, a powerful trick to use is to put a fake, small block of "very very soft" material (small young modulus) at the end of your beams, so cannot exert a significant pull force.
