Today I received this pathetic e-mail:

"Dear Doctor and Professor,

Hope this mail finds you are well! In your research field, my friends and I need to publish about ten SCI/SSCI papers every year, but we do not have the ability to complete them ourselves. So, I look forward to working with you. If you can assist us, we can provide cost support for your research: 1. When you publish your paper, we can pay (Article Publish Charge) Fee for your paper; 2. We can also provide financial support for your research, such as offering you $1000 for every time you help us.

If we ultimately reach a cooperation agreement, we will keep the cooperation confidential and respect the privacy of each partner. This email is valid for a long time, and I sincerely look forward to working with you. I am always looking forward to your reply!

If this email bothers you, please accept my apology. I apologize for my rudeness and rudeness!

Warmly Wishes,

Robin Haans"

I doubt this fishy email will attract "collaborators", but I can see how underfunded researchers may consider these "opportunities". I will alert my research group about this kind of academic fraud.
