There is strong confusion that attitude is backed by commitment or vice versa.. Initally I presumed that attitude influence commitment but further i tried to find the literatute on this but unfortunately i didnt.

I think attitude & commitment can be correlated. But in order to determine whether which variable is influencing which variable we need more clarity on these 2 variables i.e. attitude & commitment as well as the research context. E.g. attitude is general term which can refer to trust, satisfaction etc. Commitment can refers to individual commitment, team commitment, work commitment, family commitment etc.
