Hi, I'm conducting a SLR on the existing SLR on additive manufacturing (AM) technology. I use search engines Scopus, WOS, Emerald and ScienceDrirect, to retrieve my literature, and i use Mendeley as my ref. management tool. When it came to duplication, it did it manually and also used Mendeley.
I came across many software suggestions like Covidence, RevMan etc,. for SLR, and i just found our about ATLAS.ti. So, i thought to raise this question here.

IN ATLAS.ti, you would treat each item as a "case" and then develop a coding system that you could apply across all your cases. The advantage of this approach is most evident when you are searching for things that are shared by items in your total set.
Actually, any of the major qualitative data analysis packages can be used for this purpose, including by NVivo and MAXQDA. Here is an extensive example using ATLAS.ti
